Information to confirm before proceeding.
These checks do not remove risk or determine whether a transaction is suitable for you. They help identify details that still require independent review and written confirmation.
Is the price indicative or confirmed for my transaction?
An indicative unlisted share price is a starting quote, not a guaranteed executable price. Ask whether the figure applies to your buying or selling side, intended quantity and timing. Price and availability can change before the terms are confirmed.
Have I verified the company and security?
Match the legal company name, security or ISIN, share class and quantity against the transaction documents. A familiar brand or abbreviated company name is not enough to identify the security being discussed.
Which written KYC, payment and transfer steps apply?
Ask for the applicable KYC requirements, payment instructions and off-market demat-transfer process in writing. Confirm the relevant counterparty and document details before sending funds or shares.
What if I need to sell later?
Unlisted securities do not have continuous exchange liquidity. A buyer may not be available when you need one, and the price available later may differ materially. A possible listing or future exit should never be treated as guaranteed.
Which current company disclosures have I reviewed?
Independently review the latest available official filings, financial statements, business updates, corporate actions and transfer restrictions relevant to the security. Check the date and provenance of each source rather than relying only on a summary.
